Your Privacy Matters

your rights to organize and support union activities are protected by law. The National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) (29 U.S.C. § 151-169) ensures that employees have the right to organize, join unions, and bargain collectively. Specifically, Section 7 of the NLRA states:

“Employees shall have the right to self-organization, to form, join, or assist labor organizations, to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing, and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection.”

Furthermore, Section 8(a)(3) and 8(a)(4) protect you from retaliation by your employer for engaging in union activity. Employers are prohibited from interfering with these rights or discriminating against employees for union participation.

How It Works

Flight instructors sign cards to show their support for forming a union. This process is completely confidential and your name will not be shared with anybody.

A union rep from the NLRB will come and hold elections to form a union.

Now, our union is formed, we can start negotiating our concerns and have our voice heard.

The Petition

To be able to move forward, we need you to sign this authorization card, if you can download It, sign it and email it to us on eraufiu@gmail.com. Your privacy is protected, this document will stay confidential and only be shared with the National Labor Relation Board to be able to file our petition.
